Access FS Sets Out Five-Year Growth Plan Focused on Advisers and AI

Access Financial Services (Access FS), a mortgage and protection advice firm, has announced a five-year growth strategy that will prioritise adviser recruitment and investment in technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and data.

The company’s founder and chief executive, Karl Wilkinson, outlined the plans at a recent company meeting, highlighting the relaunch of the Access Academy, a year-long programme designed to train advisers based on their experience, with the aim of becoming self-employed.

Access FS currently has around 280 advisers and aims to increase this number over the next five years. The firm will focus on growing its community of experienced advisers and creating new business opportunities, while also supporting adviser growth through marketing and business development.

The Access Academy will provide a structured route for new advisers to enter the profession, develop, and build long-term careers. The company also plans to expand into other areas of financial services.

Wilkinson stated that Access FS will invest in AI, data intelligence, and technology to improve productivity, reduce administration, and provide advisers with the information they need to support their businesses and clients. The objective is to offer better tools, better information, and more time for advisers to focus on their customers.

The five-year strategy is intended to build on Access FS’s existing foundation, offering more opportunities for both experienced advisers and newcomers to the industry.
