Alto Unveils AI Tools to Automate Key Estate Agency Tasks

Alto has launched a suite of six artificial intelligence tools designed to automate everyday sales and lettings tasks for estate agents. The new features, part of Alto Intelligence, allow agents to customise each tool to fit their business operations.

The six AI “skills” cover appraisals, property matching, listing descriptions, sales progression, business analysis, and customer communications. According to Alto, more than 6,000 agents currently use its software.

The Appraisal Builder tool produces appraisal reports and identifies comparable properties using agency data. Agents can adjust the criteria and writing style to match their business preferences. The Property Matcher identifies suitable applicants when properties launch or prices change, and creates consolidated updates for each contact.

Alto’s Listing Writer generates property descriptions, key selling points, and room-by-room copy, using an agency’s previous listings to replicate its preferred style. The Progression Chaser analyses an agency’s sales pipeline, ranks transactions by risk, identifies reasons for concern, and drafts follow-up communications.

Alto IQ, which operates through Alto Analytics, allows agents to ask questions about their business in plain English, returning answers in figures, tables, or charts. The Message Writer drafts emails using an agency’s preferred tone of voice and supports the other AI tools.

Agents remain responsible for approving the output before using it. Alto also plans to allow agencies to create their own AI skills without writing code, by describing the task in plain English and specifying the records and output required. Agencies will also be able to modify Alto’s existing skills.
