Watkins-Schmidt entered the agency sector after redundancy in 2022 and launched her own lettings business. In spring 2024, she became a Sourced Living franchisee and grew her managed portfolio organically to 33 properties before this acquisition.

Sourced Living, part of Sourced Property Group, supported the acquisition. According to Stephen Moss, founder and CEO of Sourced Property Group, acquisitions are becoming an important route to growth for the company.

Watkins-Schmidt now plans to grow both the sales and lettings sides of the business across Devon.
