iamproperty Joins Open Property Data Association to Support Industry Standards

Proptech firm iamproperty has become the newest member of the Open Property Data Association (OPDA). The company, which works with over 1,000 agency partners and provides onboarding, auction, and material information services, will contribute to OPDA’s mission to transform the home buying and selling process.

Since its launch in June 2023, the OPDA has developed open property data standards and models aimed at creating trusted, reusable, and shareable property information for all parties involved in property transactions. These standards are designed to reduce friction, improve transparency, and support a more efficient transaction process across the industry.

The OPDA network includes major banks, building societies, conveyancers, estate agents, technology providers, and other property professionals. According to The Negotiator, iamproperty has already participated in OPDA’s sandbox programme and hackathons.

For UK letting agents and inventory clerks, the adoption of open property data standards is intended to streamline the property transaction process, making it faster and more transparent for all stakeholders.
