JammJar rolls out AI upgrades to mortgage operating system after broker feedback
JammJar has announced a series of artificial intelligence updates to its operating system, developed following broker feedback. The firm announced and demonstrated the changes at its summer launch webinar, with features designed to reduce administrative tasks.
What the AI updates include
The system now features an enhanced AI Assistant that shows advisers the transcript wording and confidence level behind suggested fact find updates drawn from client conversations. Advisers can review and accept any changes before they are written into a case.
A new AI document analysis tool reads bank statements and income documents to review commitments, spending, flagged transactions and income. JammJar said these reviews can be completed in around four minutes per case, with advisers able to check and amend the information.
Knowledge Base and communications hub
JammJar has also introduced a Knowledge Base, which lets firms upload their processes, templates and partner scheme information so advisers can find answers from their own documents without searching separate files.
A single communications hub brings together email, portal messages, calls, SMS and calendar appointments. A customer portal supports document sharing and messaging, and a function records meetings and captures face-to-face conversations, collating information for fact find updates and possible follow-ups.
Protection, automations and reporting
Protection can now appear with the mortgage on the same record, with sourcing through iPipeline's Solution Builder, and selected product information and documents can be synchronised back into JammJar.
Firms can build their own automations, including mortgage deal-end reminders and follow-up tasks, and create reports by asking questions in plain English.
Broker feedback at the core
Karl Griffin, CEO and co-founder of JammJar, said most of the new features came directly from broker feedback, with customers showing the firm where technology could do more and where tasks still took too long. He said the AI does more of the work, but advisers can see where information has come from and decide what gets written to the case, and that firms can now build their own automations and reports without waiting for JammJar.
Griffin added that JammJar has always aimed to be one place where brokers can get their work done, with these updates helping advisers move through cases faster, stay in control and deliver a strong customer experience.
