Kensington Mortgages Appoints Two Regional Business Development Managers

Kensington Mortgages has appointed two new business development managers (BDMs) to strengthen regional support for brokers across the UK. Gemma Davies will cover the Central West region, while Paul Dodimead will be responsible for the East region.

Davies’ remit includes most of Wales, Shrewsbury, Birmingham, and Coventry. Dodimead will cover Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Colchester, and Romford. Dodimead replaces James Burwood, who was recently promoted to national account manager.

Both Davies and Dodimead will report to Phillip Pinson, regional sales manager for the North. According to the report, Davies has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage sector, having worked in banking, estate agencies, and brokerages. Her most recent role was at Melton Building Society, where she advanced from mortgage broker to BDM.

Dodimead brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services, including senior BDM roles at Scottish Widows, Halifax, and Coventry Building Society. He has also worked as a mortgage adviser.

The new BDMs will work closely with brokers in their respective regions, providing support with specialist lending solutions, complex case enquiries, and education on Kensington Mortgages’ products.

For UK letting agents and inventory clerks, these appointments may signal continued support and expertise for brokers handling specialist mortgage cases, which can impact buy-to-let and landlord clients.
