Knowledge Bank to Add Six New HMO Criteria Questions After Clinic Event
Knowledge Bank will introduce six new criteria questions to its platform following the latest instalment of its Criteria Clinic series, according to Mortgage Strategy.
The most recent Criteria Clinic, hosted by Knowledge Bank founder and chief executive Nicola Firth, focused on houses in multiple occupation (HMOs). The event brought together five specialist lenders—Zephyr, LendInvest, Family BS, Keystone, and Paragon—to answer brokers’ questions about HMO lending criteria.
During the session, lenders explained how their criteria would apply to individual cases. The discussions highlighted at least six new areas of criteria that brokers need answers to. Knowledge Bank’s criteria team is now working to introduce these questions onto the platform.
Once these new criteria are live, brokers across the UK will be able to search for them when placing HMO cases. The new and unique categories will be discoverable and can be added to searches using Knowledge Bank’s built-in AI search feature, KB AssIst.
This update is intended to help brokers quickly find answers to common HMO-related queries and adapt to changing lender criteria. The changes aim to make the platform more relevant to the cases brokers are working on today.
