Landmark Launches Reform-Ready Sales Packs for Property Agents
Landmark Information Group has launched a new search bundle aimed at helping property agents prepare for upcoming government reforms to the home buying and selling process. The new Sales Pack Ready kit provides a combination of a Personal Local Search, a Drainage and Water Search, and Homecheck Residential, with condition reports also available through the property data group.
The kit is designed to give property professionals, including estate agents, access to the search and property condition information identified in the government’s reform proposals. Landmark states that this is the first in a series of reform-ready solutions to support the industry as it adapts to new requirements for greater upfront property information.
Landmark’s data shows that the average time from instruction to completion has increased to 123 days, which is up 18% since 2019 and 64% since 2007. The launch of the Sales Pack Ready kit comes as part of wider industry efforts, including the Project 28 Charter, which brings together organisations from across the property sector to create a blueprint for faster, more transparent, and more certain transactions. One of the core commitments of Project 28 is to make relevant property information available earlier in the transaction process.
Landmark Information Group has indicated that the Sales Pack Ready kit is the first of several solutions being developed to align with the Home Buying and Selling reform roadmap.
