LRG Merges Three Surveying Brands Under MAP Chartered Surveyors

LRG has announced the merger of Stirling Ackroyd Surveyors, MAP, and Romans into a single national business, now operating as MAP Chartered Surveyors. The consolidation brings together the group’s surveying and valuation services under one brand for the first time.

The three businesses have a combined trading history of 225 years, with Stirling Ackroyd operating for 150 years, MAP for 40 years, and Romans for 35 years. The new MAP Chartered Surveyors operation includes more than 50 surveyors working through a regional network across the UK.

MAP Chartered Surveyors will continue to serve an existing client base of over 400 business-to-business clients and 200 lenders. LRG also plans to generate additional work through its national branch network.

LRG’s acquisition of Northern Estate Agencies Group late last year is expected to increase surveying referrals in the north of England. This acquisition added 36 branches across West Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, and Greater Manchester to the group.

The existing surveying management team will remain in place following the rebrand. MAP Chartered Surveyors is the trading name of Stirling Ackroyd Surveyors Limited.
