Northern Estate Agents Form Centro Network to Share Best Practice

Estate and letting agents from Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, and Newcastle upon Tyne have launched a new network called Centro. The collaboration aims to share best practice, support landlords with portfolios across multiple cities, and improve standards in the residential property sector.

Centro brings together four independently owned firms: Zenko City Living (Leeds), Reside (Manchester), City Residential (Liverpool), and Sanderson Young (Newcastle upon Tyne). Collectively, these agents manage more than 2,000 residential properties across the North of England, with each business operating in its local market since the 1990s.

The network is designed to help agents collaborate, share operational expertise, and provide landlords with access to trusted partners in different cities. Centro members have previously worked together at property investor shows in Manchester and London Docklands, connecting with investment clubs and supporting regional residential developments.

The launch of Centro comes at a time of change in the city centre residential property market, with developments such as cladding remediation works and proposed leasehold reforms, including plans to cap ground rents at £250 per year. The introduction of the Renters’ Rights Act in England on 1 May 2026 is also prompting more landlords to seek fully managed lettings services to ensure compliance with new regulations.

Centro aims to strengthen the service provided to landlords, tenants, and developers across the four cities by sharing market intelligence and reinforcing high standards in residential sales and lettings.
