Nottingham BS Reshuffles Intermediary Team Ahead of Specialist Lending Launches

Nottingham Building Society has announced a series of promotions within its intermediary sales team as it prepares to launch specialist residential lending products in the second half of 2026. The changes are intended to strengthen support for clubs, networks, and key account relationships, and to help deliver the mutual’s evolving intermediary proposition.

Samantha Watts has been appointed to a six-month secondment as national account manager, reporting to sales director Matt Kingston. Watts, who has worked as a field business development manager supporting brokers in the South West since 2022, will work alongside Beckie Morton to support strategic broker relationships.

Ami Cammack has been promoted to a field-based business development manager role after more than a year in the mutual’s telephony team. She will lead growth and development in the Central region, marking her fourth promotion since joining Nottingham Building Society in 2023.

Lucy Smith has also been promoted from intermediary support officer to telephone business development manager for the London region. Additionally, Rachel Bridle has returned to the sales team following maternity leave.

These appointments come as Nottingham Building Society continues to expand its intermediary proposition. In the first half of 2026, the mutual introduced enhancements to affordability, income assessment, and specialist lending criteria, and developed products aimed at borrowers whose circumstances fall outside traditional lending models.

For letting agents and inventory clerks, these developments may signal upcoming changes in mortgage product availability and criteria, particularly for clients with non-standard circumstances. The reshuffle is part of the society’s efforts to strengthen its sales leadership and account management capabilities as it prepares for further specialist residential lending launches later in the year.
