Pexa UK Appoints Krystle Kocik and Simon Wright as Co-CEOs

Pexa UK has announced the appointment of Krystle Kocik and Simon Wright as co-CEOs, effective 1 July 2026. The announcement follows the departure of current CEO Joe Pepper, who leaves the company on 30 June 2026.

Pexa Group stated that the new leadership structure is intended to support the firm's UK growth strategy and strengthen its commitment to customer success. Krystle Kocik joined Pexa UK in 2021 and has played a significant role in the development and adoption of Pexa’s platform, including its integration with the Bank of England and the delivery of NatWest’s remortgage transactions on the Pexa platform. Kocik has approximately 20 years’ experience in product and digital transformation across the property technology and financial services sectors in Australia and the UK.

Simon Wright also joined Pexa in 2021 as chief operating officer for the UK. He has nearly 30 years’ experience in financial services, including strategy, operations, customer banking, and transformation. Wright led the integration of the Optima Legal and Smoove businesses into Pexa Group, as well as the integration of Optima Legal with the Pexa UK platform.

Outgoing CEO Joe Pepper commented on his time at Pexa UK, highlighting the value of electronic conveyancing platforms in enhancing the property transaction process. Pexa Group CEO Russell Cohen said the appointments of Kocik and Wright bring significant experience and knowledge of the UK financial system to the leadership team.

For UK letting agents and inventory clerks, the leadership changes at Pexa UK may be relevant as the company continues to focus on the modernisation of property transactions and the adoption of digital conveyancing solutions in the UK market.
