Pymm and Co Relocates to Larger Norwich HQ After 20 Years at Ber Street

Independent estate agency Pymm and Co has relocated its Norwich headquarters after two decades at its former office. The firm has moved from Ber Street to larger premises at 46 Rose Lane, less than half a mile away.

The relocation follows the agency's acquisition of Starkings & Watson Lettings and brings its specialist teams together at the new premises.

Why the move happened

Pymm and Co was founded in 2006 by managing director Steve Pymm, who has worked in estate agency since 1996. Pymm said the business had outgrown its long-standing Ber Street office after 20 years of expansion.

"We were at Ber Street for 20 years and, with the business outgrowing it, we needed to move," he said. "Our new office means we're now all under one roof with space to continue our growth."

A history built on lettings and acquisitions

The agency moved into financial services through sister company Broadland Consultants in 2007 and launched a dedicated lettings division the following year. Much of its subsequent growth has come through acquisitions of lettings portfolios, including Homeworks Lettings, MPJ Property Management, Reality Lettings, Barton and Co, Moving In, Dunn and Co and Spencer Ward Lettings.

Pymm and Co expanded beyond Norwich in 2025 when it opened a second office in Sheringham. It later acquired the neighbouring building to increase the size of its north Norfolk operation.

What this means for agents and clerks

For letting agents and inventory clerks in the region, the move consolidates Pymm and Co's specialist teams, including its lettings division, in a single larger office. The Starkings & Watson deal is the latest in a series of lettings portfolio acquisitions that have driven the agency's growth in Norfolk.
