Rebecca Egerton Appointed to Lead The Right Academy
The Right Mortgage & Protection Network has appointed Rebecca Egerton as head of The Right Academy. In this new role, Egerton will be responsible for overseeing, running, and developing The Right Academy, including the co-ordination of its training and development programme for non-CAS (Competent Adviser Status) advisers within the network.
Egerton will report to Jack Norrey, compliance director at The Right Mortgage & Protection Network. She previously served as supervision and development manager at The Right Mortgage, working across both the main network and its subsidiary, The Later Life Lending Network. Egerton joined the business in October 2022.
The Right Academy offers firms a structured route to bring new advisers into the profession. Its programme includes induction training, development support, supervision, masterclasses, and ongoing training towards Competent Adviser Status.
Since its launch earlier this year, The Right Academy has developed 35 trainee advisers, with a target of appointing 100 trainee advisers by the end of 2026.
This appointment may be of interest to UK letting agents and inventory clerks who work with or alongside mortgage advisers, as it highlights ongoing investment in adviser training and professional development within the property sector.
