Stonebridge Appoints Hannah Tee to Lead Adviser Recruitment Drive

Stonebridge has appointed Hannah Tee as national recruitment executive to support the growth of its adviser recruitment service for appointed representative (AR) firms. The recruitment programme, launched in 2024, is designed to help AR firms find new advisers without incurring third-party recruitment agency fees.

According to Stonebridge, the team is currently managing 130 vacancies across its AR firms. The network stated that the internal recruitment service is provided to members at no additional cost, with all expenses covered by Stonebridge. This approach allows AR firms to expand their teams more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Hannah Tee brings experience as a CeMAP-qualified mortgage and protection adviser, and has previously worked in the financial services sector for over a decade, including roles at Visionary Finance and Nationwide. Stonebridge highlighted that Tee’s background equips her with insight into what business principals seek when recruiting, as well as an understanding of how candidate requirements can differ depending on an AR firm’s business model.

A mortgage network league table compiled by Network Consulting showed that Stonebridge added 29 AR firms to its network last year, reflecting notable growth.

For letting agents and inventory clerks, the expansion of adviser recruitment within Stonebridge’s network may signal increased activity and potential collaboration opportunities within the UK property sector.
