Tab Appoints Jack Bonner as Chief Risk Officer

Tab, a commercial mortgage and bridging lender, has named Jack Bonner as its new chief risk officer. Bonner will be responsible for overseeing the company’s risk strategy and framework, including the portfolio and recoveries department.

Bonner joined Tab in 2023 as a portfolio and recoveries manager, focusing on recovery strategy, risk management, and portfolio quality. In September 2024, he was promoted to head of portfolio and recoveries. According to Tab, Bonner has contributed to improving the performance and quality of its loan books for commercial and buy-to-let (BTL) mortgage and bridging finance.

The company stated that Bonner has implemented a more proactive recoveries approach, enhanced oversight, and tightened portfolio management processes. In his new role, Bonner will report to Duncan Kreeger, Tab’s CEO and founder.

Earlier this month, Tab also announced the appointment of Karen Rodrigues as its sales director.

This leadership change is relevant to UK letting agents and inventory clerks, as Tab is active in the commercial and BTL mortgage sectors, which impact property management and lettings.
