Together delivers record £3.5bn originations in FY26
Specialist lender Together has reported record originations of £3.5bn for the financial year FY26, according to Mortgage Solutions. The group's average monthly lending increased by 10.5% to £291.4m, from £263.6m a year earlier.
Together's loan book rose 8% year-on-year to a record £8.5bn, up from £7.9bn in FY25. Cash receipts totalled £3.7bn, up from £3.4bn the previous year. Underlying profit before tax rose to £223m, from £216.1m.
Lending and risk
Together said the lending growth was achieved while maintaining low loan-to-value ratios. The weighted average origination LTV was 61.5%, compared with 60% in FY25, while the indexed weighted average LTV remained low at 56.6%, up slightly from 55.8%.
Arrears fell to 4.3%, down from 5.5% the previous year. The lender said it continued to focus on core specialist lending markets where customer demand remains strong and risk-adjusted returns are attractive.
New proposition and investment
Together launched a targeted semi-commercial proposition, which it described as an attractive adjacent growth market. It also invested in sales, operations, data and insight capabilities to improve service levels and customer outcomes.
The lender reported £1.1bn of facility headroom and £440m of accessible liquidity, which it said would support future lending growth.
Leadership change
Within Together's personal finance division, John Hooper, currently a non-executive director, will become board chair with effect from 1 October. This forms part of a planned succession from Richard Gregory, following an eight-year term.
