Zoopla Returns to Profit and Highlights AI-Driven Future for Agents

Zoopla has reported a return to statutory profitability, with its latest full-year accounts showing a profit of £20.7 million. The property portal also signalled a stronger focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven opportunities for estate agents and partners.

According to Zoopla’s full-year accounts for 2025, revenue was slightly down from £84.2 million to £83.2 million, but the company returned to profit. The portal reported that valuation leads to estate agents grew by 25% year-on-year as of the first quarter of 2026. The number of homeowners tracking their property on Zoopla increased by 39% in 2025 to 5.4 million, and the portal stated that this figure has since reached 6.4 million.

Zoopla highlighted the performance of its Prospect Plus product, which connects homeowners directly with estate agents. The company reported that Prospect Plus now converts 43% of its prospects into listings, with both volume and quality increasing. New homes buyer leads also grew by 19% year-on-year, attributed to ongoing investment in housebuilder products and improved experiences for users with higher purchase intent.

The company stated it is continuing to invest in its platform and AI capabilities, aiming to build a more data-driven business. Zoopla has rebuilt its platform and data stack over the past two years, which it says allows for more meaningful deployment of AI. The company recently signed an enterprise agreement with OpenAI, and its applications are built on proprietary data, including search and intent signals, equity positions, and valuation history from over 6.4 million homeowners.

Zoopla described its proprietary data as a significant competitive advantage as AI reshapes how consumers search for and research property. The company emphasised that its unique homeowner data provides a strong foundation for future growth and AI-driven experiences.

These developments are relevant for UK letting agents and inventory clerks, as Zoopla’s increased focus on AI and data-driven tools may impact how agents generate leads, connect with homeowners, and manage property marketing in the future.
