Second Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter Lunch Announced

The Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC) Lunch will be held for the second time on 9 October 2026 at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London. The event is supported by more than 400 signatory organisations, representing over 30,000 people in the mortgage industry.

HSBC, Virgin Money, Nottingham Building Society, Landbay, Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB), and L&C were among the first organisations to support the alcohol-free lunch. The MIMHC Lunch is recognised as a key wellbeing event for the sector, bringing together lenders, distributors, brokers, networks, and industry partners for an afternoon focused on open conversation, collaboration, and positive action.

The lunch provides an inclusive, alcohol-free environment and is dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing across the mortgage and specialist finance professions. Discussions at the event focus on leadership, workplace wellbeing, and practical steps businesses can take to better support their staff.

Funds raised through sponsorship and attendance will support the work of the MIMHC Foundation CIC. This includes funding for mental health first aid training, educational initiatives, and preventative wellbeing support throughout the industry.

The MIMHC invites additional organisations to participate alongside established brands in supporting mental health initiatives within the sector.
